One T

I really like bikes, yep I know… shocker. It’s the ability to go anywhere you want under your own power, to explore the world, or just your neighborhood. I love the freedom a bike gives you. But sometimes when you’re out in the middle of nowhere on the perfect country road all free and exploring, it starts to rain, or you get a flat, or even worse you need a snack. That’s where I come in.

The first bag I made was a half frame bag for commuting. Then much like potato chips or tattoos I made another, and another, then a saddle bag, then a front roll, then…..well you get the picture. All the while exploring further and farther. In that time I ended up getting pretty darn good at making these and people started asking, “Hey One T you think you could make me one of those bags?” “Sure thing man, I’d be happy to” Now I’m here saying that to you.

I’ve put my wares through the ringer, from riding the spine of the continent on the GDMBR, to pedaling all over the southwest. I know they’re durable and they work. My frame bags fit like they were made for your bike because they are. I offer a lot of touches the other guys don’t. Plus if you want a pocket here, or a zipper there, I’ll do it. If you want olive drab and hot pink? Sure man I’d be happy to! So if you’re tired of saggy jersey pockets filled with gels and cardboard bars order up a One T custom. Then get yourself some good cheese, salami, crusty bread and ride out.

Humphrey

If you are reding this you probably have asked yourself , “What the hell is with this Humphrey character?” Well I’ll tell ya. Humphrey originally belonged to my son Noah, but he was in need of an adventure so one spring he stowed away and joined me on the Kokopelli trail. When Noah found out, I was sending pictures along the way, he was none too pleased. But then Humphrey wanted to join me again in New Mexico so I said OK. I’m not sure why, as he never pedals, is terrible at navigation, and consumes well more than his bodyweight in gummy bears. But he’s good company and he seems to be fairly adept at keeping the bears away at night. Now he goes on almost all my adventures big and small. He’s even got his own handlebar rumble-seat, with a seatbelt, so he can take in all the sights, and munch on gummy bears.
